Hi, it’s me. Remember me? Okay, okay.. I know. It’s been almost a year since my last blog post. But I’m back! And that’s all that matters, right?
Sometimes life just gets in the way. And unfortunately, my blog felt the hit of my busy life. But when I look back on my time spent blogging, all I see are the memories and moments I was able to capture that I wouldn’t trade for the world. The late nights and busy weekends are completely worth it. Not only do I blog for you the reader, I blog for myself. As an outlet to express myself and as a way to document both those big memories and little moments. That’s what life is all about, isn’t it?
Looking back on my last post from June of 2017, I wonder how the heck it has already almost been a whole year since then. Time is absolutely flying by. And yet, so much has happened since then. Let me get you up to speed.

January 2017 – Got dinner with Gams, spent a weekend at Purdue, officially started wedding planning by visiting venues and choosing ours, went to a Bridal Expo, celebrated my 26th Birthday with friends and family, and found our wedding photographer!
February 2017 – Superbowl party with Julianne, went to the Turf Room for Valentine’s Day, selected our wedding DJ, and Naperville Winter Ale Fest.
March 2017 – My mom and dad’s Birthday celebrations, a road trip to Toronto and stayed in an Airbnb for a long weekend (recap coming soon), did so much exploring and eating.
April 2017 – Spent Easter with Graham’s family, did some wedding dress shopping, went to our venue for a styling open house event, celebrated Graham’s 26th Birthday, after a bit more shopping I finally chose my wedding dress!
And, that’s pretty close to where we are today.
For months I’ve been telling myself I want to get back at it. I’ve had so much amazing encouragement from friends and family that seriously meant so much to me. Knowing that everyone enjoys my blog and supports me to keep going has made a huge impact on me. All I needed to do was make the commitment and go full speed ahead. So here we are, back to bloggin’.
