March came and went just as quickly as January and February. And here we are with my March Favorites already. When will this year slow down? March’s warmer weather has me extremely excited for spring time to be here in full force. The ridiculous amounts of rain we’ve had this past week has been a major bummer, but it means green grass and flowers are coming!
For some reason, this particular change in season has had me wanting to cleanse and clean. My life, my apartment and my skin. I think my March Favorites definitely reflect that. From the obscene amounts of kombucha I’ve had to weekly face masks, I’m recharging and gearing up for spring and summer.
It might be a bit premature, but I had to break out my Sperry’s and Keds this month. I’ve slowly been saying goodbye to my boots and switching over to some warmer weather shoe attire. And you know you need some no see socks to rock those Sperry’s. I got these for Christmas and I instantly knew they would be a fave of mine. They’re another charitable brand which I absolutely love, plus they’re comfy and never slip off my heel. I’m in desperate need of more pairs of these to add to my collection.
I mean what can I say, kombucha has become my biggest obsession. It may not be for everyone, Graham hates the slight vinegary taste it has, but I love it. It was a no brainer that kombucha would have to be in my list of March Favorites. If I could drink it every day I would. My two go-to flavors are GT’s Mystic Mango or this pomegranate lemonade by Humm. I just love Humm’s packaging. Their bottles have such a cute shape and the labels are so unique and colorful.
I heard about Sensationail a couple months ago and just had to try it for myself. I have loved gel manicures for so long but hate spending the money on getting them done every 2-3 weeks. Sensationail was the answer to all my prayers. It’s an easy at home gel manicure system that really does work. I’ll be honest, you aren’t going to get it to last the full 2 weeks (at least I haven’t), but you will get immediately gorgeous nails that are completely dry and smudge free. I even ordered a couple new colors which I can’t wait to try out!
Mask of Magnaminty
After struggling for so long to find the perfect face mask, I finally turned to Lush. And now I seriously wonder why I didn’t try out this mask earlier. While I’ve only used the mask a few times so far, I knew it had to be included in my March Favorites. With peppermint oil and ground aduki beans, the mask gives you a fresh minty clean feeling, while also exfoliating and moisturizing at the same time. I’ve experimented with many face masks over the years, but this is hands down the best I’ve ever tried.
Adidas Cloudfoam Shoes
What can I say, these shoes are beautiful. And also the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Honestly, I went into adidas wanting these shoes but has absolutely no idea how much I would love them. Seriously it’s like walking on a cloud. Fingers crossed I can keep them this perfectly white for a long time. It was clear that these would have to be among my March Favorites. If I could wear them everyday, I assure you I would.
Mint To Be Shea Butter Hand Cream
After winter my hands are in need of some love, so this hand cream has definitely been one of my March Favorites. I’ve always loved Bath & Body Works’ hand creams. When I stopped by a few weeks ago to restock my empty collection, I was so surprised by their new packaging. I absolutely love the new tube shape, plus each scent has it’s own completely unique design to match. I’ve been loving mint scents lately, so the Mint To Be was an obvious choice.
Perfectly Portable Bag
During my little shopping spree in Bath & Body Works I picked up this “Good Vibes Only” bag which was part of their “Perfectly Portable” collection. First of all I am just obsessed with the palm tree design, hello summertime. And the quote is one of my favorites. I really do try to live up to the quote every day. Although it’s hard to have a positive attitude all the time, I think good vibes can be contagious and really can make a difference in the world.
Smashbox X-Rated Mascara
I feel like I’ve been cheating on my unconditional love for the Maybelline Lash Sensational. But I’ve been using my Smashbox X-Rated mascara all the time lately. I have always struggled with getting voluminous lashes, but this one really does the trick. While I do like to pair it with my go-to mascara, I do think it gives me that extra “Umph” that I’ve always needed. And the mini size is just so adorable.
What have you been loving the past month?
